Trans border Alliances and Euroregions

Euroregions may be considered as territorial trans borders entities, their objectives being to create an integrated space, through the implementation of specific policies for regional development, local economy, social networks, cultural activities, institutions for Education, transport networks, environment, etc. The question of mobility within these trans border spaces deserves to be questioned a bit more in-depth:
  • are trans-border mobilities fro young people in VET easier to organise? More attractive? More interesting for companies? Less interesting for the young people?
  • does belonging to an Euroregion facilitates and better support the quality of mobilities?
  • are the existence of partnership in other domains, a facilitation in language acquisition, the possibility to multiply mobilities for other actors than the young people themselves, enablers to develop mobilities quantitatively and qualitatively?
  • do trans-border alliances enable the development of sustainable partnerships which can be more effective in transforming youngsters' mobilities in true levers for the building od Europe and the implementation of the Europe 2020 strategies?
  • what are the interests for companies to favour the trans-border mobilities of youngster in both ways? Which are the impacts on employability, job evolution, innovation transfer, business cooperation,...?
  • which successful practices, which enabling organisation, which networks could we share to go further and better?
The Carrefour is organised as an EUROAPPRENTICESHIP Peer-learning.
