Founded as an association in 1995, IFA provides service to support the mobility of apprentices and skilled workers. Its members are the Economic Chambers in Austria, the Federation of Austrian Industry, the Junior Chamber Austria and the Young Industrialists.
As the central information and consulting centre for young people, companies and vocational education and training (VET) providers, IFA organises work placements, applies for them, awards the necessary grants and ensures the recognition of competences acquired abroad.

The Chamber of craft and small business of Slovenia(OZS) associates 53 000 craftsmen and entrepreneurs and represents their interests.
The chamber of craft and small business of Slovenia performs also in Initial vocational education and training (IVET), Continious vocational education and training (CVET) and Adult education and training.; the chamber is involved in decision making process on both levels national and regional-local, in planning, designing and realising training programmes and organises education and training regarding the needs of craft and entrepreneurship.
The chamber also performs several public authoristions in IVET, CVET and Adult education and training as master’s exams, intermediate and final exams in IVET, monitor and registers the companies with training places, controls and tests some professional qualifications etc.
UEAPME is the employers’ organisation representing the interests of European crafts, trades and SMEs at EU level. As the European SME umbrella organisation, UEAPME incorporates 85 member organisations from 36 countries consisting of national cross-sectorial SME federations, European branch federations and other associate members, which support the SME family, representing more than 12 million enterprises employing around 55 million people across Europe.
