Peer learning session june 2012 - Paris

Publiée le Sonntag 13 Mai 2012

The June session will address the challenges and questionings linked to the recognition of learning outcomes obtained during a mobility program. During mobility periods learners acquire new skills, increase their autonomy and discover a different cultural environment. The first PLA sessionfocused on the conditions through which mobility should be set up, notably as regards to the role of companies. Nevertheless there still is an issue to tackle: the informal recognition of these learning outcomes obtained abroad. ECVET could provide a solution that improves the possibilities for recognition of learning outcomes. ECVET is an instrument designed to facilitate learning mobility for learners (young and adult) as well as to support lifelong learning in Europe.

The Peer Learning session will, among others, explore the following issues:
  1. What is the ECVET added value for learning mobility of apprentices?
  2. What are the minimum technical specifications in order to set up a recognized mobility frame?
  3. How to increase actors’ awareness of the validation of mobility?
  4. What is the role of Networks in the perspective of recognized mobility?
