The German Confederation of Skilled Crafts is the national representative body of the German crafts sector. It is headquartered in and Berlin unites 54 chambers of skilled crafts, 38 national confederations as well as economic and scientific institutions of the crafts sector in Germany.
ZDH represents the interests of the skilled craft sector as a whole vis-à-vis the German government and all central authorities.
Polish Craft Association was developed in 1933 as a roof organisation for craft chambers and guilds. Within the structure there is 483 guilds, 27 craft chambers (26 regional and 1 optician-branch chamber) – and about 300.000 of craftsmen.
Polish Craft Association is a national organisation of the craft economic self-government and it is a representative employers' organisation authorised to participate in the social dialogue.
Simultaneously, the Association is fulfilling goals and tasks of the employers' confederation defined in the Law on employers' organisations.
